For No Particular Reason, Twenty Things About Brian :)
For no reason at all I thought I would make a list of Brian facts. Some common knowledge, some little known :)
1. He is a political activist from his youngest days.
2. His highest weight ever was 140 (fat boy! lol!)
3. He loves chocolate malts and eats maybe 6 in a year.
4. He at least half built a five bedroom, 5.5 bath home in Minnetrista where he lived for over a decade with his second wife.
5. He has been an intense outdoorsmen. Kayaking on Superior, trips into the BWCA alone for 10 days at a time. The Brian of hotel suites is very much a phenom of his recent years.
6. He hates most travel, but always lived to go up North. WE make multiple trips each year, and Grand Marais is our second home.
7. He has never stopped eating fish and eggs, and would generally partake in poultry if so offered.
10. Brian grew up in Hopkins, finished high school in California, and went to collage there for awhile too. Yup, he was 18 - 20 in L.A. in the late sixties.
11. Brian was anti - war and intensely so, but I don't think anyone would have thought of him as a hippy.
12. Brian has an enormous Nissan Titan with less than 45K, year 2004, It's been a trophy truck lol.
13. Brian met me when he was 57 and I was 42. We went out three times, I came to his place the third time and then I just sort of forgot to go home. Maybe because I WAS home, finally.
14. Brian bred Siamese cats for several years at his home in Minnetrista. He stopped because he got too concerned wondering about how the cats did after they left him.
15. Brian is loved beyond measure, particularly by me! To quote one famous man's wife "I would rather have 10 years with him than 50 with another".
16. Brian eats eggs every morning with his "egg fork" weird, huh? :)
17. He hardly ever reads social media, and dislikes texts.
18. Brian invented the words "work ethic". He loves to be productive and is pretty compulsive about same.
19. He has a temper, and a heart bigger than our beloved Lake Superior.
20. Brian adored his mom and speaks of her often.
